Top Social Events In 2022
Throughout 2022 there will be some social events you can’t miss and we are interested to see how many of them will be going ahead. Hopefully, with all the right restrictions in place, all the planned events for the year can go forward and happen. Here are some of the top social events you won’t want to miss out on in 2022…
Outdoor cinema all around the country
Now we are in 2022, there will be many events still going ahead and a majority of them will be held outside. As the days start getting longer and there is more light, outdoor cinema, eating outside and generally socializing in the open will be the best way to meet friends and family. If you want to create your own outside events, cinemas are one of the best ways to get people together out in the open, especially if you have a garden. You can go all out and decorate with inflatable planets and make it extra special. This would also make a great idea for a children's birthday party and any other moon or space-themed events throughout the year. If you celebrate national party day in April, why not get some inflatable planets and hold a party to celebrate? Of course, this will depend on restrictions.
Beijing Olympics
The Beijing Olympics will be one of the biggest events in 2022 and whether you’re attending in person or just watching it on the TV, there will be some of the best athletes performing as usual. The Winter Olympics will open in February and there will be an opening ceremony and all the games will be complete by the 20th of February. Events like the Olympics and other sports events manage to stand out so much with their marketing and branding. Let's hope Covid restrictions are followed as much as possible before the Olympics goes ahead.
Easter
At Easter there are plenty of social events you can attend, whether you’re a couple or family with children looking for some entertaining events, you won’t be stuck for options. There are usually Easter eggs hunts in most towns and cities that are fun for all age groups to join in, they’re often held outside too which is a bonus. If you can’t find any family events, why not start your own Easter egg hunt? If you have space in your house or garden this could be really entertaining for kids and adults as well.
Halloween
Whether you normally celebrate Halloween or not, dressing up will put a smile on anyone's face and enable children and adults to get creative. Making spooky outfits is all part of the fun and extra special if you have a party to attend. If your birthday is around Halloween you can hold a party and get everyone to dress up and bring spooky drinks and snacks.
Hopefully, most of the social events planned for 2022 can still go ahead, whether they’re small gatherings or big international sports events. The more we stay safe and for restrictions, the more hope we will have for the warmer summer months.
